Level Design/Assets/Textures


Over the last couple weeks i've been thinking about the level layout and the verticality. I'm trying a bit more texture art and testing materials, but I think a mix of solid colors and low res textures will allow for faster development as it's a lot of work with all things considered.

I added a bunch of ramps and speed boosts so the player can launch themselves on top of buildings to collect items and explore.
There's a bunch of new pathways and routes to take, and I made the map a little bigger.



I modeled and added a simple Dump safepoint which you'll return the garbage across the map to.

Many of the houses have bridges or ramps allowing you to go from roof to roof.
The speedboosts will speed the game up a little and let you collect objects fast.

I also tested the game builds to see how well they work with WebGL. So far, it seems to run smoothly, but later on I'll try optimize the game a little better.
